Free Preschool Starter Pack (Printable PDF)
7 pages · free · prints at US Letter
This pack collects the seven printables we would hand a parent starting from scratch with a three- or four-year-old, in the order the underlying skills develop rather than in alphabetical order.
It opens with name tracing, because a child's own name is the most motivating word they know and personal relevance does more for early writing than any other sequencing decision. It then moves through uppercase letters, lowercase letters and shapes before introducing numbers, and finishes with the first two cutting sheets — straight lines, then wavy — because scissor work builds the same hand muscles pencil control depends on.
Everything in it is free to print individually on this site. The pack exists to save you assembling it and to give you the sequence.
